Happy Spring!

I did a Spring shoot with the girls. We had a guest appearance by Ansley. That put the group to four that day. Ainsley, Ansley, Bea & Mia.

I know Shakespeare is so overdone but I really like this quote: "April hath put a spirit of youth in everything." ~William Shakespeare

Ahhhh, to be young and silly! I'm so glad I have the girls to shoot whenever I'm inspired. Thanks to all the Mom's who never say 'no'! Love ya, mean it.

April is a good month. We have a little birds nest on our porch. Four times I pulled that thing down with a rake and she kept coming back to the same spot to build it back. I thought I won until I checked by the front door a few days later and there it was - filled with eggs. Well, I couldn't take it down now! So now we have chirping baby birds by our front door.

So here's to Spring, warm weather and baby birds!

Ty, Race, Finn & Family...

So Maureen (Ty, Race, and Finn's mom) shows up to the photo-shoot all leggy and fabulous and I'm thinking..'I want to look like her when I grow up.' I mean, really..the woman has had 3 kids (boys at that) and she obviously has it all together. The boys look good, Mom and Dad look good - it would take me DAYS to get my family's act together! Anyway, they were all great to photograph and absolutely adorable. So much personality!!! Take a peek:

Halle & Aidan...

Dear God,
Please send me two of the cutest set of twins in the whole wide world.

Thank you. :)

Halle and Aidan dressed up in their 1st Communion attire for their photo session. My favorite part about the two of them is that you can dress them up but their personalities remain the same! They are so comfortable in front of the camera and Halle has recently signed on to be my new Artistic Director. She's got more ideas and every 35 seconds she's finding something new for me to do. It was so much fun.

Aidan told me he didn't want to smile because he's one of the last kids in his class to still have so many baby teeth. I just wanted to hug him and tell him how sad I'll be when he's all grown up and doesn't have any 'baby' teeth to show me.

Here's two of my fav's:

Kayla, Camden & Family...

I shot Jennifer & Scott's wedding, gosh, I can't remember the date...but this past weekend they brought their crew back for some family pics! They looked GREAT in their shades of purple and Camden (their youngest) was so much fun! I had to smile each time I pulled up a picture of him. He's just so squeezeable! I shoot for emotion. I want to 'feel' the picture and I want to get goosebumps when someone lets me into their lives. It's such a quick glimpse into the love they share for each other. This image is one of those moments.

I think we need a little Chantal for this one...CLICK HERE to see a sneak peek of our session together:
