Southern Charm!

I just had a great meeting with a Lexington Bride this evening. It was as if we were old friends chatting, eating apple cobbler together. Stacey has one of those soft, comfy voices with a bit of chocolatey syrupy kentucky accent. Can I say that? Chocolately syrupy? You know what I mean. We met, of all Kentucky places, the Cracker Barrell. We talked about wedding plans and how she met Nick (her future hubby). I love to hear how couples met. It's never a boring story even when they 'meet in a bar' or 'work together' there is always something sweet and....chocolately syrupy within their stories...

Whiners...

yeah, yeah...we all know the saying - If you dont' have anything nice to say... I was reading through some other blogs - just because it's fun and because I like to lurk! I realized there are alot of whiners out there. I'm so thankful everyday for what I have, WHO I have. There is no reason to complain. Sooooo, I decided that if I dont' have anything nice to say..I'm going to keep my mouth shut. Anyway, I'll try real hard but I'll admit...I'm kind of a whiner too.

I don't think I ever saw Meg without a smile on her face. Nothing, I mean nothing bothered the girl. Her dress was to die for AND a shout out to her mom who MADE the bridesmaids dresses. I wanted one just to wear. All the bridesmaids were her sisters - 3 of them. And they all were down-right gorgeous. The location was great, the sky was bright blue, Meg's hair was the perfect hint of red and the piles of hay were calling my name! Randy (Dr. Lambertus)..thanks for the poses! :)

What a great couple! I have hair envy when it comes to Sarah and she knows it. Loved the hair, loved the dress, loved them! I have one of their engagement pics hanging in my studio - they are one of those couples who are up for anything - it was no different on their wedding day and we got to spend quality time together on the Lake.

Yes, I've jumped on the 'blog' bandwagon. I read everyone else's - thought it was time to start my own. I don't have anything to say though -that's a problem.
