I knew Jenny and I were a match made in Heaven when she shows up with an album of just gorgeous pics she took during a trip to Africa. I looked through her album she looked through mine. Her hubbie? He defines cool. Really. Some of us just think we are cool - he really is. Here are a few of my fav's from their wedding:

Wedding Marathon...

This was my wedding marathon weekend. Three of them. Every Friday and Saturday in June I had weddings but this weekend was my threesome. And the great thing about all three of them is that they were all so unique and just fantastic. Great couples who were so much fun to be around. I made a new friend - Allison - my new BFF.

She's so easy to get along with, laid-back and what you see is what you get.
I also lost a friend..well, she moved back to Kansas today and I miss her already. We said one last farewell to her and had a few cocktails and before you knew it..I was singing on stage with the band. Yep, it wasn't pretty - didn't even know the song...but no worries..they turned off my microphone. I'll post some pictures soon! (of the weddings - not me singing.)

The Cottage

We took a little trip to the lake for a few days and did some fishing (my feeble attempt), water-skied (another feeble attempt), tubed (pretty good at this one)...roasted s'mores (really good at eating them)...and caught lots of critters - frogs, minnows, toads - that's almost my favorite part - next to the s'mores and frozen cocktails!

Caroline & Whit

What a crazy fun wedding! The bridal party was so much fun and up for anything! They even had a few ideas to share with me for a good photo op! I think Whit's brother had the best-best-man speech I've ever heard. Here's a few of my favs:

Sarah & Dan

I love Sarah & Dan - beautiful couple. Shout out to Ali & Dru (Dru is Sarah's brother) - I shot their wedding and got to shoot Sarah's too! The Taft Museum absolutely rocks. It' s fantastic..top on my list next to the French House. Here are some of my fav's:

Two of the nicest people...I lost count on how many times they thanked me. Love them both! They just had so much fun on their wedding day and it showed. Debra had her day planned perfectly and I think this was the first ever timeline that actually followed the times she set. I asked her to email it to me it was THAT good. They spent plenty of time with us and gave us GREAT picture ops. Devou Park, The Manor House, St. Cecelia...good stuff! Here's a few of my favs:

My man Son.

I have to give a shout out to Son. I love him ( in a photographer kind of way). He shoots with me and for me. He is awesome. I think he thinks I'm a little 'off my rocker.' It's true..I'm a few french fries short of a Happy Meal..But he is an awesome photographer - and really thinks outside the box. I love his ideas and his pictures..here's a few shots of Son from previous weddings we've worked on together - he's lookin' pro.

Jessica & Bob

One of my favorite places to shoot is the French House. If I could shoot there every weekend I'd be so cool with that. It's nothing too fancy, it's a bit rustic and it just has a simple beauty to it that gives it a comfy, vintage feel to every picture. Jessica shows up in this beautiful gown that fit the venue (and her) perfectly. No poof, no frills - just Jessica. She just finished medical school and plans to catch babies for a living (OBGYN). Beautiful...what a great wedding! I went to high school with Steve - okay - he went to an all guys school and I went to the girls school next door but what's the difference?? It was a rocks' throw away! I got to see a ton of great people I remember and I got to take a ton of great pictures. It was perfect! Here's a few of my favs:
