Happy Birthday Ava!

Ava just had her One Year Birthday last week and came to see me - how absolutely perfect she is! Pretty blue eyes and just so full of energy. Here's a few from her session:

I LOVE summer!!

Who's loves summer??? ME! Pick me! Popsicles (bomb pops...oh, my favorite...Strawberry Scooter Crunches - YUM!, water wings, bike rides, the smell of freshly cut grass, lightning bugs..it's all good. I found a snake a few days ago. Here are some shots from today - we got out our little blow-up pool..you would have thought it was the the Seitz Aquatic Center.

The Next Canon Super Model..

Ha! I forgot I had this pic! This is of my neighbor. She is a child portrait photographer and lives about 5 houses up. She's just hilarous and I love having her around - she is moving back to Kansas - you know, Dorothy, Toto...and tornadoes. I will honestly miss her when she's gone. She has a way of waking us all up when we get too stale, crunchy..old. I hope she never looses her sense of style and her free-spirited personality. I'm glad she was here for just a bit..to remind us that we can never grow old...without a cat-fight. :) Her lens cap is Canon (oh,well! :)) - it's hard to see in this picture - but I thought about sending it to Canon - they could use it for promotional purposes...

Kaylyn and Jordan...

The Phillips' Family came to visit me and talk about CUTE! I could have squeezed the cuteness out of both of them! They were so friendly and sweet and of course, up for anything! I love this age - they aren't afraid to throw ideas out and Kaylyn really wants to be a model. Here's a few from their session:

North Carolina

So we took a trip to Asheville, North Carolina. We stayed at the Grove Park Inn..wow! It's nice but at 20 bucks a pop for a shot of Tequilla...yeah, no thanks! A couple of these are pics of the Biltmore House - the largest house in America. 250 rooms, indoor swimming pool, bowling lanes..etc. Really cool but I could only think..man, how much it could have been to HEAT this place!
