Pumpkin Carvings....

Bea's Kindergarten class had a night of carving pumpkins...I guess I didn't get the memo that it was a 'Dad' thing...I think I was the only mom there! It was still a good time. Here's a few:
Of course we sat with Brendan. Bea just thinks the world of him. They are buds!!!

Here's the best part of this story...so the KIDS are supposed to be carving the pumpkins.

The Marathon..

Bea's first marathon...errr....that's what we told her. She was stretching to get ready..and in the next shot - this dude saw Bea stretching and thought he better loosen up a bit too! Photo credit goes out to my much better half.
Gatorade after the race. Greg said she was not even close to being out-of-breathe..but hey! It's Gatorade..nasty stuff.
and her medal! She even brought it to show-and-tell. She's very proud of it - we're so proud of her! Some day, I'm sure I'll be coughing up her dust.

Christa & Greg...

Christa & Greg 'appear' to be a normal couple...and I'm so glad they are not. So the two of them were Cross-Country Runners back in the day. Christa throws out this idea of them 'running' for their engagement session. Ummm....okay. And I love ideas..any and all kinds! So, we have to take it to the next level...Check out their webshow and turn UP your volume for some rockin' '80's music!

Isabelle...

Ohhh, Isabelle. She's just the sweetest thing! She lives next door to us so she doesn't have far to come when it's picture time! And she LOVES having her picture taken. She's just wonderful to photograph. Here's a few:

Well..you just can't go wrong with double cuteness. I know when those two come to my studio..we are in for a good time. All I have to do is snap away - it's almost too easy. Their mama is a stylist (Tara at Baja Salon) and I wouldn't go anywhere else. When we move..I'll have to come back just to see her and bring her my picture of Jennifer Anniston (or whoever's hair color I like that month) and ask her to make me look like that. I hope everyone makes a road trip down to HOTlanta to see me - we'll have extra space - everyone can crash at our house!

Victoria & Julia...

How do you NOT fall in love with these faces??? Julia had a smile that was absolutely contagious! I laughed every time she smiled! And her older sister, Victoria's hair? Natural..big..purrrrty...curls! I was a little worried when Julia (the younger one) came into the studio hanging tightly to her daddies' leg...but we sat..we chatted a bit...and she LIT up!!! She was a WILD thing!! But in my studio..the crazier..the better!! Here's a few:

Leah...

My running buddy Bonnie brought over her precious! daughter for some 2 year pics! We threw in a couple Christmas but we stuck with Leah and her fabulous 2 year-0ld-self! She has big, beautiful brown eyes and was just a joy to photograph. Here's a few:

Son..The Gourmet Cook...

So I get this email from Son..the subject line is..'Yes, I'm single.' The guy uses his cell phone to take a picture of his grocery cart...he's out grocery shopping...single guys do that from time to time. Apparently, the grocery was having a sale on Totino's Pizza's...11 pizza's for 10 bucks...really? That's a great deal if you like to eat cardboard. So Son buys 22 pizza's. Yes, 22. He states he would have bought more if his freezer was bigger.

Wall O' Zugelter...

I took Mya's 3 month pictures a while back and I did a storyboard for their family. Turned out so cute! We really wanted to get creative for their big entry-way wall - artwork seemed so overdone...decorations...ehhhh... - so they went with the storyboard! these are all 16x20's... photo credit goes out to Steve!

My wedding season is officially over! I take off November and December from weddings to jump into family holiday pictures. I thought I'd put together some of my 'steamy' moments of 2007. They are still tasteful..a little naughty..but always so nice!

Allison & Brendan

Just perfect. Allison has great features! She's just so easy to photograph..and when Brendan gives me a genuine smile..it's magic. He also had the COOLEST tattoo...Allison hand-wrote 'I love you' on a piece of paper and Brendan had it tattooed on his body. It was simple..and so sweet! Here's a few from their engagement:

Orange is the new BLACK for Christmas!

Okay..well..the new red/green for Christmas! I tested it out on Lola and it turned out great!! Her outfit was bright and really set off the background...can't wait to use it again!

Andy & Mindi...

With names like Andy & Mindi you KNOW they are going to be a cute couple! Andy..crinkles his nose when he laughs --- I mean c'mon...how CUTE is that??? Really. And Mindi..she can climb TREES in HEELS! She rocks. It's going to be a fun wedding next year. She was a camper..camped out for the good ol' Drees Pavilion. 4am and she was 3rd in line and get this...her first TWO dates were taken by the first two people in line...but her 3rd date was hers! Thanks guys for such a great session!

It's Christmas Time!

At least in the photography world it's Christmas for me! Lola stopped by for her Christmas pics! Every year she looks so different..but she still has those precious cheeks and those chocolate brown eyes that I just love to photograph.
