Last but not least...

The studio comes down today. It's kind of a sad day. I've created alot of memories in this studio. I shot in it..until the very last minute. We went out with a bang though, - a great time with my favorite set of twins...Halle and Aidan. Click HERE for their very last webshow.

'In The Dark' Project

I really wanted to do something conceptual and I'm just awful at explaining things. I wanted the images to feel like winter: cold...lonely..waiting for Spring. I have an idea but to verbally explain it - it just comes out weird but I've got it perfectly in my head. Needless to say...Son and I venture out on Saturday to this absolutely fabulous location to make my project a reality. This has been in the works for some time but getting around to making it happen...yeah. So here is just a small piece of the series - way more to come!

The Troops!

Amy brought her entourage over for some pictures..and then some pizza..and some wine. We did pictures BEFORE we did wine. What a great family. They are so easy to photograph and up for any of my crazy ideas. Here's a few from our session together:

You'd be surprised how yummy a raw carrot is! I bought some, just for some color and of course, Easter is here! Well, Rudi LOVES raw carrots! We had so much fun! He's got my favorite...big brown eyes and outfits from Chasing Fireflies so we were meant to be together!

I have so much fun with the W's come to my studio. Lola has been coming to me for years now. I'm one of her biggest fans! :) She has a brand new baby brother and I'll tell you what...he's just adorable! Can't wait to see him in a few months when he is smiling and laughing.. crawling... walking even! It will be great pictures to see those two 'play' with each other.

Buddies...

Today was absolutely perfect. Overcast, a bit warmer than usual - great day for a shoot. So Amy (my friend) & I took the dynamic duo (our first borns) out for some pics. Some people go out to lunch, some people have play-dates..I do pictures. It's just so sweet to see how our kids interact...not a care in the world! It's ALL fun ALL the time. I wanted to capture them today - the way they are right now...in this moment. The way they act when we are driving down the road and I can hear their silly conversations. Can you remember what it's like to be little? I remember..I'm reminded every day and it's such a blessing. Click HERE to view their 'movie'.

Lannie my baby....

Alanna (her nickname is Lannie)..she came over today for her 1-year-pics. She is my niece and I love her dearly. I gave her cake, lolli's, and made her a grilled cheese sandwich. She has such a great profile. Big cheeks, pouty lips..I just love to photograph her.

Uncle Marc's Wedding!

Melissa & Marc are getting married this May. I throw ideas out at Melissa ALL the time! She's such a good sport to put up with me! Son and I (he'll lead, I'll follow) are going to shoot their wedding. I'm also trying to talk Melissa into a 'Trash the Dress' Session before they leave for their honeymoon. What fun! Their ceremony will be outside with my favorite little white chairs, hopefully that nice, golden, warm sun setting...can't wait! Melissa also decided to throw out the tuxes and put Blake in knickers! LOVE it!

Kelly & Craig...Bring on Wedding Season!!!

It's that time of year again! What better way to start out wedding season with Kelly and Craig or (McBuilder) as I've lovingly nicknamed him. It was pretty chilly that day and Kelly had this fabulous little shaw to keep her warm. The church decorated the bushes with twinkle lights and Mother Nature decorated with a few snow flurries.
