Rebekah's Senior Pics..
I wuv Rebekah. She's just gorgeous. We took so many great pictures and found some super-fantastic-great-new locations - I danced the jig I was so excited. I'm always on the look-out for new spots..so I visted one of my old (well, as old as it can be) spots and looked around and found something new and better behind me. Yes, we had to deal with a few bugs but we're both big girls and can squish just about anything that comes our way...and I'll do just about anything for a great shot. Climb trees, step in murky water, pull a few ticks out of my hair, eat broccoli...there's no shame. CLICK HERE for just a sneak peek of Rebekah..

Kate & Matt's Wedding...
An absolutely beautiful day with a beautiful couple! Kate IS the dancing queen and I truly enjoy photographing her. The DJ was so much fun. He had everyone dancing from the beginning to the end. I don't think anyone was ready to leave that party! I did get taken by surprise when the server spilled a tray full of champagne on my camera gear while I was shooting the couple's rings at a table - but accidents happen and despite some sticky (and expensive) lenses the night continued on with lots of great pictures to share with you! With all her laughs, her tears, her dance moves...She was so comfortable in front of the camera and so much fun to photograph. From a vendors standpoint everyone adored her and enjoyed working for both her and Chad. So this is for you, Christy. And your many, many glam looks! Thanks to you and Chad for making me a part of your beautiful wedding. CLICK HERE to view a fun little show.
Coming Up!!

Paula & Mark Engagement...
Paula and Mark have two of the best smiles around. They are great to photograph and I know their wedding is going to be just stunning! I'm super excited to be a part of their day. We did their engagement session in downtown Roswell - lots of great spots including my new friend...The Ram. It's not every day you see a big, fake, metal ram. CLICK HERE to view a sneak peek of our session together.

Kate & Matt...
Kate and Matt are getting married in two weeks! Kate is so excited - it's so sweet to hear her talk about her wedding day and how she can't wait. We started in the studio and then headed out for a bit. Kate told me she wasn't photogenic. I think that's a big fat ugly lie. She's stunning and she works the camera very well. We all had a blast and I look forward to seeing them again on their wedding day. CLICK HERE for a sneak peek of our session.

4 Years Old.
I decided to take Blake's 4 year pictures...'as-is'. He dressed himself (he loves his 'camera' shirt), wanted to wear his boots (because it's raining today) and his 'captain' hat so his hair doesn't get wet. That's how he came out of his room...so that's how we went to the studio. Of course I had to bribe him with a gumball and 5 minutes into it he asked if we were done. I think it was worth his time...to have a blue gumball in the end. Here's a few:

Christine & Richard's Callaway Wedding
Simply breathtaking. Callaway Gardens plus Christine plus Richard plus Christines' fabulous and classy eye for detail was amazing. Christine (by trade) is an accountant. I seriously think she needs to 'do' weddings on the side. She did NOT miss one detail and I'm so glad I was there to capture it all.

Anik Designs...
Anik Kueller from Anik Designs is my new best floral friend. I can't WAIT to work with her next weekend at Callaway Gardens. We have Christine & Richard's wedding there and I know it's going to be just stunning! We collaborated on a project together this past weekend and here are some shots of her bouquet/work. You can check out more of her work at www.anikdesigns.com.

Sweet Little Sara...
Sara is just a sweet little 1st grade teacher. She is really such a great person to be around. I look at these pictures and think, 'This sassy kitten isn't Sara!' But she sure can put on her 'model' face! Do you believe she deals with 6 and 7-year-olds every day? I should have taken a 'before' picture of her.

Windyoak Lane...
I did enjoy the bit of snow yesterday but I'm truly, really, a beach bum. I was looking through old images to pull up some nature shots ( and I'm by no means a nature photographer) and I found our little blow-up pool pictures from our old house. This really made me miss Windyoak Lane. You would have thought we had a spa resort in our driveway. It didn't matter we were all too lazy to take the kids to the clubhouse pool in the subdivision that was much bigger. They loved this little pool and the easy access to the freezer and the popsicles. It's so funny how things can change so fast.

Party of Nine (and a half).
I headed out today for a family session...I love it when I can photograph the GREAT-grandparents with their GREAT-grandchildren. It's such a meaningful moment. My grandma lives in California and I'd LOVE to photograph her with my children. For now, I'll just have to wait. But when I get these opportunities like today...it makes me miss her even more. I have so many favorite shots from today..here is one of GREAT-grandpa waiting for everyone to get ready. I'd love to know what he's thinking in this shot...what memories he has from the 87 years he's been here. What great stories he could share with me over a beer. He was so much fun and I really enjoyed talking with him. On top of it all..he had a GREAT pair of cowboy boots! So here's his shot:

New Spots..
I'm always on the look-out for new spots I want to shoot at. So I grabbed the girls and we headed to check out some of them. Some of the spots worked..some of them didn't. Either way, we had a great time! CLICK HERE for a sneak peak of our shoot today.

Apartment Fire!
I shot Jen and Bernardo's wedding last October. The interior walls of their complex were perfect for doing portraits of Jen. Their apartment was covered with images I shot of them at their engagement session and pictures of her niece I took. Most of their stuff is now gone...here is what Jen wrote to me in an email:
"Hey Nicole! I was just curious if you had sent our cd of our pics yet? It's
cool if you haven't yet cause there was a fire in our apartment building
Sunday morning and we are being moved apartments. At this point we have lost practically everything due to someone else's negligance. The fire started
down the hall from us. We were able to go back into the apt for a
minute and the first thing I handed the fireman was my album! I told him
that was important to me! If you haven't sent it I will get back to
you on our new address.
Have a good one!
Jen"
Click HERE for the story from the news - Jen was actually interviewed!!
I'm thinking HOLY COW!(but not cow)she went back for her wedding album! Here is a picture (photo credit goes to WCPO) of the fire:

and here are some pics of her apartment before it went up in flames...

I'm just glad they made it out safely. Thank you, Thank you GOD for getting them out! Wedding albums can be reprinted...people cannot.
