Emilee & Family

Emilee seriously..could pass for a real, live Cabbage Patch Doll. I gave her 'movie' one of my favorite songs. Remember when you were in high school and you had a 'song' with your boyfriend? Yeah, this was mine. I even remember who the boyfriend was. They probably don't 'have' songs anymore. I'm old school. So here's to Emilee and her perfect little self! Andrew has such beautiful blue eyes and crazy, wild blonde hair. He's absolutely adorable. I shot his parents wedding awhile back and talk about a good time! They are two of the sweetest people I know and definitely made for each other! CLICK HERE to see a sneak peek of our session together:

Jackson & Landon

Just gorgeous! Jackson didn't say much to me but Landon had plenty to say! And HUGE baseball fans. Once we got out the bat, Jackson was in 7th heaven! He forgot all about taking pictures and we got some great candids of him.

Kella and family

Kella was my littlest and last session on Sunday. She was just a little over 2 weeks old. She was such a good baby the entire time and SOOO alert the whole time! I was hoping she might pass out while I was there so I could get a few more sleepy shots...she must have really liked me and wanted to keep the conversation going. Mac & Maddy

Mac is a regular. I've got the best picture of him in the studio drinking a juice box in his unmentionables when he was much smaller. It's a 20x24 - nice,large print he can show his future wife many years from now. He's alwasy been rough and tumble since I've known him. During our session he was busy eyeballing every tree he thought he might climb. His little sister Maddy looks just like her mommy. Blonde, wispy hair..big brown eyes! Isabelle & Caitlin

Chrissy and Mike have been my friends for a long time. I know Chrissy is my friend because she puts up with my you-know-what. She knows me pretty well and she still sticks around. That's a friend. Isabelle & Caitlin are her little girls. One with big brown eyes and the other with bright blue eyes..asolutely adorable! Caitlin has had her fair share of tough times since she was born...but she's a rock. A little, strong rock with a really BIG heart. So this song is for her. Rudi & his crew.

Julia has the biggest, sweetest smile you've ever seen in your whole life! Her happiness is contageous and when I look at her images it makes me smile too. They are just a great family to be around.

Tad, Mitchel & Georgia

When I got to the 'D's house Georgia let me in. I don't think she stopped chatting with me the entire session. It was like we were old friends and this was really the first time she met me. Tad & Mitchel were the same way. So much fun to photograph. It was like they had known me for years! We had such a great time and really got so many touching candids of their family. We did a few posed but even those are warm and fuzzy!

Robin...

Robin and I got together to update her portfolio. She's an aspiring model/actress and already works in the industry. She's been a dancer her whole life and does moves that would require a neck and back brace if I attempted it. She's so much fun to work with and easy to photograph. I had some fun ideas I wanted to try out on her which required her athletic ability..I think she might have needed a nap after our session. Here's a few:

Brendan, Connor & Gianna

One of the hardest parts of moving away is leaving the people that mean the most. My friend Amy is one of those people. I miss her and her family. It was so much fun to photograph her crew. They are a wild bunch! 2 boys and then throw in a 1.5 year old drama queen with lots of attitude..makes for good photos! CLICK HERE for a sneak peek!

Marin & Brennan..

It's always a good time when the 'K' Family comes by for pictures. Brennan & Marin are both absolutely adorable and really..you just want to squeeze the cuteness out of Brennan's cheeks! I'm so glad he didn't change too much from last year. He still has that 'little boy' sweetness about him. I know, I know they all grow-up...but that's why we take pictures..right? Piper & Lauren

It was so cute to see this beautiful family with this really old (I mean really old) black dog. Navar was his name. He was a chow-mix and couldn't see..could barely walk..but they loved him so. Addy & Family!

Addyson was my youngest model on Saturday. Ashley & Jason (her mom and dad) and I go way back. I shot their wedding many moons ago and I'm so lucky to get to photograph their baby. Carson & Beckham

Saturday, July 18th at 9am started my whirlwind Summer Splash Photo Session. It couldn't have kicked off any better than with these two brothers. I'm a sucker for brown eyes and really...Carson's brown eyes were milk chocolately. He wasn't so sure about me at first (who is!) but he warmed up and we took off. World Tour..

Well, not exactly 'world' but that's the nickname we gave this trip. After 3 weeks on the road..I'm back in Georgia. I've got a ton of awesome stuff to share with you. From itty bitty newborns all the way up to aspiring models. It was a really fantastic trip with lots of great people and families! Stay tuned!

YES!!! MORE Twins!

My friend Jennifer brought her crew over this evening. We had some dinner and some wine and I busted out the Gold Chair. The boys asked me if they could sit in the Gold Chair and I would take their picture. Okay, that's a lie.. but secretly..I'm sure, they wanted to see how comfy it was. Aren't they just the cutest!? Here's a few of my favs:

Double The Fun...

Gabby & Izzy are identical (yes, identical) twins. The biggest, bluest (is that a word?) eyes you ever did see. It took three of us to prep them for each shot and we rarely got them together. Check out this action shot..they moved so fast we had to set them down and then RUN out of the scene before they got up. It didn't work. One would stay..the other would leave. And yes, those cheerios on the floor are a bribe that did not work.



But there were times they would grace me with their precious little presence...

Ohio/NKY Family Photo Shoots!

I'm headed back to Ohio and NKY to see some of my favorite 'little' people. I will be booking two days (9-5pm) of family sessions with some old and some new clients! Paula & Mark's Wedding...

So the day started off a little funky. My blow dryer exploded while I was getting ready so I used the vent-hood in the kitchen to dry my hair. I forgot I had just made eggs and put my hand on the hot burner. This all happened before 7:15am. Luckily..I spent the rest of the day with Paula and Mark and it was amazing! Loved every minute with them! Here is a sneak peek to our day:

They have a little 'pep' rally before each meet. This is Bea singing her heart out. I think she liked this part more than the actual swimming.


This is Coach Danny. He can still swim with the team. The kids really enjoy watching him swim.


We practice 'starts' at home. Even if she comes in last place she still looks good coming off the block! :)

357 emails...

Since I've been down and out (computer issues) I just (really just) got my email back up and running. I will be starting back from 6/2 answering emails - I would never, ever ignore you on purpose! Call me if you need anything!

When life throws you a curveball...

WOW! It's been a wild ride for the past two months! Don't get me wrong..I like a little craziness in my life...but let me tell you...I'm ready to sit back and get things back to normal! I won't fill you in on ALL the details but I will say I'm thrilled to be back online and a HUGE thank you to my wonderfully perfect IT guy Dean. He had to absolutely revamp my entire computer and I don't know what else..but I DO know it works. Still working on getting my email back up and running so if you've emailed me and I haven't been able to respond via my crappy iphone...CALL me anytime! I've got lots of wedding albums and fun pictures to show you! Stick around!

Christy & Chad's Wedding...

Their 'first kiss' was perfect. I love how his hand is on her cheek and a piece of her hair is nestled just under his thumb. Reminds me of an old, classic movie kiss...simply romantic. The song I picked for their show is one of my top five favorites...I think Carrie Underwood did a remake of it..it stinks - The Pretenders is much better.
