Remember when you were 5?

Halle came over to play today. The girls got dressed in their best 'costumes' and we headed into the studio. I think they feel like supastars. Bea even asked if I would do a 'movie' for them. She loves to see the slideshows with music. Whenever she hears the music start she runs in to see who's 'wedding' I'm working on. Here's a few from their 'rock-star' session:

Beauti Faux Finishes

I found this artist/designer (Abraham Hernandez) while on my search for the coolest stuff in Atlanta. He owns Beauti-Faux Finishes. There is NO way you could call this guy just a 'painter'..his stuff is fabulous! Some of the houses he decorates are out of this world!

Forget Pink & Red!

Here's a cute one that isn't your traditional Valentine Card... This is another photographer's design (with my little photo of Isabelle) she was so kind to share with me!

Who's thinkin' Valentine's Day already???

I just did a little Valentine card because I liked this shot of my brother and my son. Which, by the way, my brother IS single if anyone out there is looking for a Valentine! I couldn't do reds and pinks for the boys.

Alanna's 1st Birthday Party!

My niece turned one on January 1st. Yep, she's a New Year's Baby. She was a wild woman on her birthday! Of course, my brother couldn't get her cleaned-up fast enough after she went kung-fu on her birthday cake. (She's their first child - those of you who have kids..know what I mean)...anyway - She had a 'Pet Shop' Themed Birthday because she loves dogs. Here's a few pics:

Baby Gianna...

My good friend had her baby today. This is her third. Two boys..and now a girl. She's a perfect little baby. I really enjoyed holding her. The best part, I got to be the FIRST to change her diaper! Me! That's right. The second best part..I got to photograph her just hours after she was born. When she gets a bit older we'll bring her into the studio. I'm so happy for Amy & Chris. Amy was just on Cloud Nine today (maybe it's the drugs)...but she was so excited to have this new person in her life. Her boys came by and they weren't sure at first but then warmed up and started asking lots of questions..like..'How did they get her out?' It was so much fun! They have such a great family and Amy is so blessed and I'm so blessed to call her my friend. Here's some of their pics:

$700.00 shoes...

I have no idea what you would wear these Christian LaCroix shoes but aren't they cute???? I would never PAY that much for these shoes...I could put 700 bucks toward the purchase of a pretty nice lens...cute..but maybe for $29.95...and do you think that is velcro where the 'buckle' should be? $700 bucks for velcro shoes???? Maybe they velcro on themselves.

The Boone Family

Oh, so stinkin' cute! Here's a few from their session...the littlest one (with the snowflake) is the cousin of the older two. Her name is Polly Sunshine Gold. Really. Isn't that just the cutest name! Brody & Charlie (the older two) were just so sweet and just had the most beautiful eyes - what a joy to photograph.

Ice Skating Fools!!!

We LOVE to Ice Skate...the majority of us anyway!

Goodbye Christmas...

We took down the tree..until next year!

Alanna & Christmas...

About 7:30pm Christmas night (yes, I'm exhausted) we decide to bring Alanna into the studio for some Christmas Pictures that were long overdue. My niece is just the cutest! She's got these big, pouty lips and brown eyes that you get lost in. She loves dogs and just started walking really good! She'll be ONE tomorrow! I can't believe it's been a year. I've got to bring her over for her One Year pics but I'm just now posting her Christmas pics...I can't keep up!

Chrissy & Baby Caitlin

Maternity sessions are very intimate. I don't post many belly shots - I wouldn't want someone showing off my belly at 9 months. So I'll give you a few of Chrissy's minus the 'bare' belly ones - those are just for her. The whole time she would say..'Are you sure about this..are you sure about this?' Of course I'm sure - now take it off!! It's hard to get naked (or close to it) in front of your photographer/friend. Luckily, she knows me pretty well. So here's a few of Chrissy and her family.

Mya's 6 month pictures...

Mya is such a good baby. Steve & Reagan should have 80 kids if all their kids are going to turn out this good. Steve runs the show over at Glass Eye Video and we've worked together over the years at many...many weddings. I'll certainly miss photographing his family and working with him and Reagan when I move. I thought I'd get the chance to see all 'my' babies and kids grow up 'in pictures.' I guess my regulars will just have to make a road-trip down to Atlanta to see me! Anyway...click HERE to see a few of Mya's 6 month pics!

Charlie...

The many faces of Charlie....you have just got to see his happy face! Charlie's mom bribed him to wear his blazer with two tickets to the 'Bee' Movie after our session. He was so good - I hope she bought him a pack of Twizzlers too! Click HERE to see his webshow:

The Minella Family...

They stopped by today for some holiday pics with their girls. OH, so cute! They were so easy to work with and just beautiful. The girls really enjoyed trying to make their Dad smile. He, like some men, doesn't like pictures. Well, of course we WERE NOT going to take it easy on him..and when he smiled - what a great smile! Click HERE to see their webshow.
